GREELEY — A medical helicopter carrying a patient from Greeley to a hospital south of Denver made an emergency landing after a bird strike left a small hole in the front windshield.
9News reported the helicopter was about 2 miles from Swedish Medical Center when the bird collided with it. None of the four people aboard was injured.
The helicopter landed at Centennial Airport about 1:10 a.m. Sunday, and the neurology patient was driven to the hospital.
