A Jetstar Airbus A320-200, registration VH-VQA performing flight JQ-81 from Darwin,NT (Australia) to Denpasar Bali (Indonesia), rejected takeoff from Darwin at high speed after a bird struck the left hand engine during the takeoff run.

The flight had to be postponed.
