A Frontier Airlines Airbus A319-100, flight F9-825 from Denver,CO to Kansas City,MO (USA), was on approach to Kansas City when the right wing struck a large bird. The crew continued for a safe landing, no injuries occurred.
The airplane received a large dent into the leading edge of the right hand wing and needed to be ferried back to Denver for repairs. Flight F9-825 back to Denver had to be canceled as a result, the passengers were rebooked onto later flights the same day.
