A Delta Airlines Boeing 767-300, flight DL-61 from Atlanta,GA (USA) to Rio de Janeiro,RJ (Brazil) with 216 people on board, struck a bird while landing at Rio de Janeiro’s Carlos Jobim International Airport. The airplane rolled out safely.

The runway was briefly closed for an inspection, no remains were found. The airplane sustained no damage.
