A Wind Jet Airbus A319-100, flight IV-458 from Forli to Lampedusa (Italy) with 28 passengers, ingested a bird into its left hand engine while on approach to Lampedusa. The airplane continued for a safe landing.

A replacement aircraft has been dispatched to perform the return flight with 69 passengers.
