An Emirates Airlines Boeing 777-200, registration A6-EML performing flight EK-510 from Dubai (United Arab Emirates) to New Delhi (India), just touched down on Delhi’s runway 28, when a bird struck the right hand engine. The airplane rolled out safely, a subsequent runway inspection recovered a dead bird from the runway.

The airplane needed to undergo a thorough inspection, before it could perform the return flight EK-511 with a delay of 11:15 hours.
