An Air Canada Embraer ERJ-190, registration C-FHKE performing flight AC-945 from Orlando,FL (USA) to Montreal,QC (Canada) with 85 people on board, was on approach to Montreal, when the airplane struck birds with the right wing resulting in a slat fault, when the flaps were extended. The crew declared emergency and performed a safe landing on runway 06R 18 minutes later.
