An Air France Airbus A319-100, registration F-GRXH performing flight AF-881 (scheduled departure Jul 7th) from Ndjamena (Chad) to Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) with about 70 passengers, ingested a bird into an engine while climbing out of Ndjamena. The airplane entered a holding to burn off fuel and landed safely about 90 minutes later.

The airplane reached Paris with a delay of about 24 hours.
