The crew of an Air Nostrum de Havilland Dash 8-300 on behalf of Iberia, flight YW-8317/IB-8317 from San Sebastian,SP to Madrid Barajas,SP (Spain), reported while on approach to Madrid, that the airplane had struck a bird. The airport dispatched emergency services to stand by for the arrival, the airplane landed safely 6 minutes later however.

No damage was found on the aircraft.
